About:

Virginia Kase is the CEO of the League of the Women Voters of the United States, a 100-year-old voting rights organization that emerged out of the suffrage movement and continues to empower voters and defend democracy today. In her role as chief executive, Virginia is leading the organization to build power by engaging in advocacy, defending democracy and protecting voters through legislation and litigation, and field organizing to ensure voting rights for all. With more than 20 years’ experience working in the non-profit sector Virginia is a leading advocate for participatory elections and democracy. She has testified before Congress on election administration, appeared on various television news programs, published multiple opinion pieces, and is regularly quoted in news articles from Teen Vogue to the New York Times.
