About:

Rashad joined NCLCV in August of 2014 as Canvass Director overseeing voter registration program in the Triad area of North Carolina.

Prior to to joining NCLCV, Rashad worked for the National Urban League where he was Director of Voter Engagement for Urban League affiliates in North Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia. His primary focus was to increase voting participation and education for people of color in those respective states and build solid leadership with volunteers in the community. Rashad attended the University of North Carolina A&T and is a native North Carolinian hailing from Newton. In his spare time he loves spending time with his family and reading a good book.
