Cheri Quickmire joined Common Cause in 2009 and is responsible for all aspects of organizational, board development and policy work in Connecticut. She has more than two decades of experience as an activist, organizer and administrator.

Prior to joining Common Cause, Cheri served as Executive Director of One Connecticut, a statewide coalition of 100 organizations working to make the state tax structure more stable and equitable. Cheri was also a policy analyst for the Connecticut Association for Human Services and led initiatives to support opportunity and prosperity for low-income state resident
