Cecilia Ballí, PhD is a narrative journalist with 22 years of experience publishing in top newspapers and magazines, and a cultural anthropologist with 20 years of experience conducting qualitative research. I have strong topical expertise in U.S.-Mexico border issues and Latino/a communities in the United States. I recently launched a cultural and communications consultancy, Culture Concepts, LLC, that provides ethnographic insights to help organizations better-connect cross-culturally, and trains clients in storytelling to improve messaging and shape narratives.

I also provide research and expertise on U.S.-Mexico border and Latino/a issues. I harness the power of research, cultural analysis and storytelling to help my clients make more authentic, lasting connections with their audiences or constituents.
