Prior to joining Common Cause Beth was the founding director of Connecticut’s Citizens’ Election Program responsible for implementing the state’s model small-dollar donor campaign finance law. Beth previously served as deputy general counsel for New York City’s Campaign Finance Board. She clerked for the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, working closely with now Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
