Audrey Haynes is a Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professor and Director of the Applied Politics Program at the University of Georgia. She earned her Ph.D. in Political Science at The Ohio State University in American Politics.
Her research focused on presidential primaries, parties and general elections, candidate messaging, and most recently, voting during the pandemic. Her teaching has focused on Media and Politics. Political Propaganda, Applied Politics, Political Parties as well as American government more broadly. Her research has been pushed in the American Journal of Political Science, Political Research Quarterly, the Journal of Politics as well as other political science journals and book chapters. She is currently working on two textbooks in applied politics and in political propaganda.
