Larry Schwartztol is a counsel at Protect Democracy who has been responsible for managing much of the organizations’s voting and elections work over the past three years. He has led litigation and advocacy efforts aimed at protecting voting rights during the COVID pandemic, fighting voter intimidation, and securing election systems against cyber attacks. Prior to Protect Democracy, Larry led a research institute at Harvard Law School focused on criminal justice reform and was a staff attorney in the ACLU’s national office.
